  • Simple tricks to clean

It has happened to everyone at some point in time. You have on one of your best outfits and you are out at a restaurant. You feel just like a million bucks and your confidence is through the roof. At some stage in time either from it being your own fault, the fault of one of the dinner guests, or the fault of the waiter a drink is spilled at it immediately flows straight for you and onto your nice clothes. For a second time freezes at the liquid is soaking into your clothing. If it is your fault you immediately become embarrassed over your clumsiness, and if it because of no-fault of your own your try to keep your composure while you assure the offending drink spiller that you are alright. You leave the table to go to the bathroom to try to get the liquid out of your clothes before it can do extreme damage. Here are some useful tips on how to move out those soaked in stains.

For a red wine spill you should take action immediately. Blot the stain with a paper towel or napkin. When you get back you can per-treat the stain by mixing one teaspoon laundry soap and single serving of hydrogen peroxide in a small bowl. Using a sponge gently blot the stain. To insure that the stain does not go through to the back side of the fabric place a towel between the two. Then follow the instructions about the label for washing.

For getting out grape juice from clothing you should use try to get to the stain as quickly as possible. You can look at the home remedy of moistening the stain with water and then adding whitening toothpaste. Work it in with your fingers and allow it to sit for half of an hour or so and then wash according to your label.

Coffee and tea can be some pretty tough stains on your clothing. To get coffee and tea out of your fabric you can try to blot the stain with cold water. Do not rub it as it may make the stain to spread. Once you blotting results in no more of the coffee coming off you can try club soda or a white soda to work into the stain having a cloth. It will help also to pre-treat the stain with your laundry soap. Remember to keep to the directions around the label from the clothes for washing instructions.

Another important fact to remember is always that checking the stain before you dry it may also help one to save the garment from ruin. Adding heat such as the dryer or an iron may make the stain any further resistant against its removal. So the next time that you will be out to dinner and you find yourself soaked just remember that there may still be a way to save your clothing.
